Acne is formed when the pore gets blocked and the oil or sebum is trapped in the pore. The sebum getting trapped creates a perfect environment for the acne bacteria to survive. Once infected the pore swells up to create a red bump. So what causes the pore to get blocked? Well, dead skin cells. So why is it that your dead skin cells hang around on your face while those of your clear skinned friend don’t? That’s because in acne prone skin cell turnover is not efficient. Acne-prone skin produces more dead skin cells than normal skin, and these cells are not shed properly. They tend to stick to the surface of the skin. In normal skin, excess dead skin cells are constantly being sloughed away on their own.
The Clear Skin Ice Cube
This time I thought I’d share my clear skin ice cube recipe with you. Yup, clear skin ice cube!!
Years back I was feeling a little under the weather one afternoon. For some reason that day I decided to replace my usual cup of afternoon tea with wheat grass. I had first heard about wheat grass when my husband decided to use it after listening to a talk by Tony Robbins. He said it was some kind of a super food. Why Seeing Dermatologists For My Acne Was A Bad Idea
Note : This is not a complaint or a rant about any or all dermatologists. This is just my personal experience with dermatologists about my acne ONLY.
As someone who has seen their share of dermatologists for acne, I think it’s only fair for me to say that not one of them helped me. Their treatment for acne was the same, whether I was 14 or I was 34. If I had had some guidance in my early twenties about proper diet and skin care I would not have fought acne well into my 30’s.
How To Get Rid of Acne Scars Naturally
Getting rid of acne scars is the next problem to tackle after the acne has healed. For some reason, this becomes an even bigger problem than acne, as the scars are not only surface scars which may be red or brown but some scars are indented and those are much more difficult to get rid of. These type of scars leave your skin looking bumpy.
I personally have managed to get rid of the dark marks left behind by acne as well as the pigmentation. The indented marks have also reduced a lot but I attribute that more to the overall health of my skin, which has improved a lot.
So today I am going to show you a two-step method of getting rid of scars. As with all my methods, I prefer to attack anything from the inside as well as the outside. This way your skin has the best chances of recovering from the scars.
